In the same year, an astounding $95.7 billion was spent on pets for grooming, insurance, training, pet sitting, and walking services, and more. Of the billions of dollars spent on pets, 38.5% was spent on pet food and treats, nearly $37 billion. 

Wanting to provide healthy food options for dogs and following a corporate design career working with brands that include Nike, Adidas, Disney, Wal-Mart, and Eleven by Venus, Barbara Clarke founded Lick You Silly Premium Pet Products.
