How Important is Word of Mouth?

Black buying power is said to be $1.1 trillion dollars. We are buying everything - both goods and services. As consumers, when we have a bad experience, we tell 10 people, but those exceptional experiences go unacknowledged.

Switch your perspective from the consumer to the business owner. You provide an product or service that is in demand. Your customer service is top-shelf. Consider, for a moment, your reluctance to share the great experience you had with a local business. If you aren't talking about other businesses, more than likely, no one is talking about your business either.

Word of Mouth (WOM) is one of the most valuable forms of marketing

- one your customers trust and will drive sales for your company. According to Nielsen, 92% of consumers believe recommendations from friends and family over all forms of advertising.

If black buying power is $1.1 billion dollars and the majority of your customers take their buying cues from people they trust on Facebook, on Twitter, on Instagram... it doesn't make good sense to  sit back and hope conversations will just happen organically about your brand, your products, or your services. If waiting for your business to be the talk of the town doesn't make sense, it surely isn't making you any money either.

Contact Minority Report to establish a Word of Mouth campaign starting with a raw and honest product or service review that will be shared across multiple social media platforms. Online engagement fuels the conversations that are being had when co-workers are deciding where to go for lunch, when fashionista are looking for the latest seasonal hair and make-up trends, and when a caterer is needed for the upcoming holiday parties. Are. People. Talking. About. YOU? Send Minority Report your products and they will be.
